Marley
This cute guy is around 8 or 9 months old. He was brought to BCHR because his parents could no longer keep him. Their landlord wanted Marley gone from the home. He is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs.
Richie
This young guy loves to hang out and roam the yard with all of his buddies. This young guy would be great for any family. Richie is a well-mannered pup. He's turned 1 year old in Feb.2011.
ELVIS
This guy is 3 year old Hound who is a SUPER affectionate boy. If you want a lap dog then Elvis is your man! You best have a big lap... Elvis will put his head on your knees; then, 'try' to get his whole body up! P.S. Elvis Love to Sleep in Bed, TOO!
ZEUS
This Big guy's very mellow and extremely affectionate. He loves to be around his family. he walks very well on lead. Zeus was a family dog, well-trained...a perfect gentleman. Sadly, the family lost their jobs and their home. So, Zeus had to move on. He's very well tempered with children of all ages. Playing in the yard is fun for this big boy.
Bailey
This Girl is about 3 years old and is very active. She loves to jump and would need a yard with a 6 foot fence. She is also pretty vocal but most of all she just wants to be loved. Bailey has a sweet look...not to mention, a tad mischevious! Her favorite spot in the house is the top of a large crate with a dog cot on top. She can 'rest' and watch the goings on below her! It's amazing how high she can jump up!!!
Craven
This Lady was found on the property of Craven County Jail, hense, the name "Craven". She is very sweet and is pretty mellow. She is just waiting for someone to take her to her forever home and to love her unconditionally. Our girl is part walker/ part basset. And can be a bit humerous in her manners.
Squeaks
Squeaks is the girl that's always playing with anybody and everybody. Don't let her small size package fool you. This little one is full of spunk and sass and loves being around people. She's also 'fond' of her carry-crate... equiped with her very own 'plush' carpet! It's the spot to chill and sleep in. P.S. "This picture doesn't do my face justice!"
Rebel
This guy wants to be where you are, doing what you're doing. He is very active and plays all day long with his friend Miss Squeaks. He can be mellow as well, if you are just lounging around the house. Rebel is 3yrs old, neutered, a very interesting black and tan with brindled coat, small statured ( 30lbs ) and a bit stubborn about learning to sit!

Cutie Pi
Cutie Pi turned 1 year old in Jan.'11, very well behaved. She's becoming the K9 greeter at New Bern's PetsMart! Fun, cute, loves lovin'. She's house trained, basic trained to sit, come and wait. BUT, this little lady wants a forever home!
Diamond
You can't see it, but there is a diamond shape at the top of my head! I'm a great boy who is semi-laid back. Not too much of a cuddler, but a loyal man. I hail from Pamlico county. Fairly patient...won't jump on the kitchen table while you're eating.
